At the last committee meeting we flagged up the need to start thinking about medium to long term issues which we will be needing to address at some stage in the future. Issues such as the pitch and our relationship with the school, the lack of Lottery funding up to 2012, and in general where we want to see the Club going looking forward. It is all too easy to sit back and do nothing when the Club is ticking over pleasantly, and then have to react quickly when our equilibrium is threatened and we are ill-prepared to respond. We have all seen how events have damaged if not destroyed other local clubs in the past, I for one do not want to see that happen to us so I am pushing to at least start a dialogue about the future.
