Social Events
Some dates to keep free:
The first Curry and Quiz will be on 16th October. There's a quiz. And curry. Both are of the highest standard. It's been going for quite a while, so most of you will have been and know it to be true.
Beer Festival
The Beer Festival will be 11-14 November. The best beers in the land, in the best sports club bar in the land. Top quality entertainment, too, with a jazz band on the Sunday lunchtime, and this year hopefully live music on the Thursday as well.
Wine Tasting
The second WBMHC wine tasting will be on 27th November. Those of you who remember last year (and there aren't many) will recall lots of wine, and possibly discussions about the origin, grape, and quality. And not being able to walk. The only complaint was that there was too much wine.
Fines Night
Fines Night is on 11th December, so before you disappear off to wreak havoc in Bridgford have a drink or two at the club, and have a go at the nonsense of a quiz. The song title picture quiz is coming along nicely, and get ready for the horror of the identification quiz. There is chocolate to be won!
In the second half of the season:
4-6 Feb: Beer Festival 2.
5 March: Curry and Quiz 2.
2 April: Dinner Dance. Back at Trent Bridge, cricket permitting.
16 April: End of season tournament.
